Cant see this being a $100m upfront; way too low. Big Pharma ears would have been pricked up with the P2 results, post FDA meeting and the P3 parameters being set so favourably would have had Big Pharma salivating at the mouth. My gut feel is that post the FDA meeting Dr T would have been pushing for a more favourable deal to what may have been initially agreed upon or more suitors came to the table and negotiations started again. No doubt the FDA meeting was a great outcome for holders and was advantage NEU. I agree with lilly- crazy deals going on for P1 (and P2) drugs and with what we have there is no chance a $100m upfront would get it done.
