    I've never really thought too much about this aspect of what happened here - sure I can see that if you work there for a long time & have a stake in where the company is at, if you leave you might sell some of your shares.

    But if the shares to be sold were purchased with a loan from the company.
    The remaining shareholders whose company loaned these funds would suffer as a result of this loan.

    This realisation does my head in.
