We need to send a message, via our votes, that we are incensed about the actions of the previous board members in:
1. trying-on the Delisting proposal
2. paying themselves a reward of "exertion fees" for being found by TOV acting in a manner which was coercive to its own shareholders. So they were supposed to be acting in the best interests of ALL shareholders, yet they were found by an independent panel, to not be doing that.
Their actions were so contrary to interests of minority shareholders, that the ASX Listing Rules had to be changed to ensure that other shareholders did not suffer the same outcome.
So if the message is sent that we want the entire board dismissed, even those who were not part of that Delisting proposal and the "exertion fee" payment, then the message will be lost.
Whilst we know that Todd's vote will carry the day, it is the message that we want to convey.
So I will be voting a big NO to the re-election of the previous directors, a YES to the re-election of Edwardes and Gurry, - and HUGE NO to the Remuneration Report.
