    Comparing HML to a reputable company, yes last year's AGM was a waste of time. There was no presentation about the future direction of the company or anything like that. Everybody knew exactly what was going on and no amount of grilling the directors with questions was going to change it. I'm still glad I attended last year though - I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it for myself.

    I'll be going again this year mainly because if these bastards want to screw me over they can at least look me in the face while they're doing it. This is the time of year that they dread the most: facing the people that trusted them. If them knowing that I'll be there again this year causes them to lose just one night of sleep then it's worth it in my mind.

    I strongly encourage everyone to attend in person if you are able to. Why should any of us make things easier for them by not attending? For most people the travel expenses will be tax deductible - so why not make a trip out of it?
