Namek how did you work out the company is giving away $2.5m?
That seems to be an uneducated statement doesn't it?
The company is giving options, not shares in lieu of a cash payment.
The holders of the options need to convert the options in to shares by giving the company $2.5m approx in cash to convert to shares.
To me its a great deal for the company.
Preserves cash and if the option holders want to benefit from the options they first need to convert to shares as the options wont be tradeable.
