I think it’s a no brainer that JL will convert. He’d have to be stupid to redeem for cash - it would crash the share price which would hit him hard given he has a decent sized shareholding, and also reduce the value of his options.
Ideally he’d convert now but given he’s only paid $200k pa fixed rem I can’t begrudge him another 3 months of 8% coupon.
