I'd say gong was a dairy man - not into gummy bars, health drinks or puree blocks.

I wonder, now, why KTD bought Omniblend - other than so that KTD SH could clear Omniblends debts, cash-up it's owners and, subsequently, their mates in other failing debt-ridden business' they bailed out.

Maybe Gong wasn't aware about Omniblend's master plan and when he realised what was going on and that there was no place for him in the new KTD world (which included a name-change) it was decided either mutually or otherwise it was time for him to move on.

Just speculating here - nothing else going on.
