It’s unnecessary to change the Constitution in a wholesale manner. While I see the need to adapt for the use of electronic mediums within COVID-related circumstances, a wholesale change is excessive. Moreover, it’s concerning that the proposed changes would incorporate the ability to issue preference shares (S.2.8)?
I’m somewhat disappointed that Independent Directors have not offered specific comment on this resolution.
