I was around in May 2006 and at that time there was no drug in the pipeline. A good concept had been developed and, pre-GFC, it was hoped a major pharma would grab the concept. Post-GFC and most big companies changed their investment risk profiles and PYC languished for a long time. This time is very different - new leadership, drugs in pipeline, clear strategy and a much clearer understanding of the technology capabilities.
