No offence, but it's got nothing to do with alt views, negative or otherwise.
If the company goes from $40 million MC to $400 million MC your shares have gone up 1000%. Even if that takes three years, it's a significant financial benefit for all shareholders. Potentially lifechanging for many. Chances are it will happen faster than that, especially if they sign an agreement with any one of the US companies highlighted in the recent Investor Presentation - Apple, Fitbit, Garmin, Fossil. Let alone commence production with Mobvoi/Google, which is signposted for next year.
Against that, 15-20% dilution is irrelevant. Also irrelevant is how much money anyone else makes, including management.
Management do the hard yards. M&D shareholders are coat-tailers. That includes me. I'm here to make money. That's all. Everyone has the opportunity to top up 20% or more right now at 5 cents or less to offset any potential dilution. IMHO that's not a big ask or, given the roadmap, a big risk.
The performance rights are simply signposts on the road map. If the SP doesn't hit the signposts, the SP doesn't go up, management don't get the shares, there is no dilution and the SP remains stagnant. Nobody gets any benefit. Everybody loses.
Alternatively, if management do hit the signposts, it means Craig Cooper is achieving everything he said he would and the MC goes up along with the SP and value of your shares. Everybody wins
As for money being created out of thin air, this completely ignores the millions of dollars of their own money Craig Cooper and Niall Cairns have put into the company, personally and via CV2, at times when the company needed it most. Nor do you know that any more rights are going to be issued next year or the year after. That's just speculative scaremongering.
I hope Craig gets all his shares. Whether that's by organic growth or a takeover, I don't care. He wins, I win, we all win. All we have to do is stay the course. If people don't like it, all they have to do is move on to something they like better that offers better potential returns.
Plenty to choose from.
