I know, it’s hard to believe these are humans, people actual people and they behave like this. How they hold their heads up high with this much humiliation and hate for them is beyond me. I personally would call
It what it is and move on, they don’t have much time left, they are at the end of their lives and they would rather be here surrounded by people that hate them than move on it’s embarrassing...

They better hope there isn’t an after life because there is only one place they are going with what they have done.
