Understand what you are saying and if you really feel that way then by all means vote accordingly.
Lets go off your $1 mill say and divide that by 3.7 years or before to get the project up and running.
That doesnt sound so bad if you ask me, but sonce you dont like it maybe an equivalent can be reached with cash and no incentive to drive the company forward.
You can argue the point well he earns $xxx amount per year salary and that his his job, this does not incentivise him to promote growth and grow company value.
The salary rob is on is to maintain the operational standard not grow the company.
If you were a store manager it would be the same deal, you could just show up and manage and not grow the business.
Im all for it if you disagree thats fine, but what is your alternative plan if rob ups and leaves after a period of delivering?
I hope this all makes sense and in no way shape or form is it aimed at offending you, great boards and good management are hard to come by, thats all.
