Even better we should only be rewarding resource growth that can be mined at the same or better margin than we already have.
That leaves grade open and transport distance.
It is all about shareholder value.
I for one have no doubt drill a few more holes and you can get plenty of 60% Fe nearby.
This adds next to nothing to profitability except value penalty per ton and possibly loss.
Should management get a bonus for just doing this ---No.
Finding another resource at better or the same margin ---well that's worth paying a performance bonus.
Because that adds to real shareholder value.
60%FE next to what were mining or at SCN----maybe no margin at all given transport and shipping costs.
A smart manager desrves reward for performance.
He's been rewarded for what s been achieved so far.
Happy to reward value adding but he's already paid to do the mundane----manage the business for profit.
Just my thoughts and my vote is NO as it stands
