Personally, I almost always vote against remuneration reports because senior managements are generally overpaid. I'm also not a big fan of share based remuneration. The cost to us in the form of dilution is very real and probably far heftier than the cost of simply paying cash
In this instance, I think that getting a new director on board may also be the way to go just to ensure that we don't rest on our laurels. As a company, we've achieved much less over the past 23 years than I think would have been achieved if directors and senior management had a greater sense of urgency.
So for me it'll be three "againsts".
I'd be interested to hear the arguments for contrary positions to these.
