A write off of a substantial (for me) amount won't help my SMSF in pension. It will just be a large loss that will never be used since the fund is tax free. My loss in my other holding could be handy if I ever, in this lifetime, have a capital gain that large. Then again, if the company was serious about re-listing they would have answered the questions raised by the ASX over a year ago. Seems like every year at this time they are begging for one more chance. The difference this year is that a director is holding the shareholders at bay with a very questionable loan to the company and threats to take down the company if we don't follow his advice. Time will tell...but that is running out soon.
All this is just my opinion and others may see a bright future for APG. I have held out hope for many years now and see no change on the horizon. Will be another interesting meeting.
