They need to fix inefficiencies and spin off the milk products to a second holding. Long term it is a diminishing return.
I see a used dairy in the Bega Valley now for sale, it hasn't beed used for years and offers some good infrastructure and 850ac, although around half is unusable bush. There has been talk of an offer of $7M being rejected. No one in their right mind would buy this to get into the industry, you would be better throwing it in a 4.5% term deposit and sitting back risk free whilst your $300k+ interest dribbles in each year.
