I’d like to add another comment to those SH sitting on the fence wondering whether to gift a bagful of cheap options to DR or not.

Some say that if he doesn’t get his options he’ll be hurt, throw a tanty and leave. What would that indicate? To me it would suggest that commercial success was further away than indicated by ANNS. Would he cut off his nose to spite his face by leaving because he didn’t get his cheap options only to see a deal done and the SP head north?
That would seem illogical to me.

No doubt he’s worked hard these last 12 months. FOR WHICH HE HAS BEEN HIGHLY PAID.
But SH are no better off for his efforts.

As for arguing that he’s the “best man for the job”, well, he may or may not be. We can only compare him to his predecessors.

My vote stays as a firm NO. Lack of results should not be rewarded. An appreciating SP should be rewarded.
