No, they are not equivalent.
A disingenuous remark contains some superficial truth, but it is delivered with the intent to deceive.

It is superficially true management may pull a rabbit out the hat in the next month.

However, given management have cratered the share price by over 50% in the last three years and recently failed to deliver on any news promised, it appears a prima facie case of deception to claim they may suddenly achieve the exact opposite in less than 3% of that time.

Even more so to suggest someone would suddenly want to take over a massive loss making operation with a documented history of failure. Besides, if they did they could let management execute their current strategy and pick up the stock at a 50% discount in six months. IMHO. GLTA. TTFN.
