Originally Brian Gilbertson was going to do a deal with OMH to have a stake in Tshipi through OM Holdings. It may have been a better deal, Tshipi today is now split into too many pies.
Gilbo lost in his desire to takeover Consmin in 2007/8, and it was Tshipi that then caught his interest.

Interesting history.
I doubt whether the current JMS management are of the same calibre. So the best we can hope for is dividends and a manganese ore price uptick.
