meaning they give 12-1 to another approx 50m shares and at the same time causing a mass exit from the AVL when they realize they can buy AVL shares for under 2 cents since the merger is now a certainty?

so everyone ends up further underwater when AVL tanks and sentiment towards combined management is trashed.

TMT need a contingency plan if this merger gets blocked. increasing placement capacity is logical for a company who would be looking to do pre development work or build a mine order long lead equipment

And I don’t think AVL will have anything to do with it ! It is unable to vote at the AGM!
But I imagine the CFO there would be unhappy if AVL is further diluted by a capital raise after the scheme of arrangement has been agreed!
—Maybe such a contingency is dealt with somewhere in the scheme notes?
