Do you think maybe his intended meaning here was "no, it actually makes more sense to assess this again as a single merger project".

I mean, that's me putting a complete opposite word in there, and then putting an entire sentence into his mouth on top of it.

But how he said it makes it sound like the plan is to just keep acting as if we're stand alone entities because that's the obvious way to create more value and simplicity.. which is a bit odd.

Otherwise, finally someone speaks with a bit of enthusiasm.
