Thats how this game works.

In the case of SMN that did not even go into a trading halt for the CR, these people who were allocated shares more than likely could have sold down their existing shares before the balance of holders and the market had any knowledge of the CR.

Looks pretty shoddy to me - lucky its not massive dilution but it still smells.

I can assure you that as someone with very reliable contacts, that no major stockbroker has traded any shares existing to those that have participated in this current raise
