The parties behind this shambles - ultimately the CCP - are laughing behind their hands at our tying ourselves in knots with legal niceties and abstract principles. If this was an Australian investment in a strategic Chinese venture, it would be simply swept away.
They are also successfully delaying the development of an alternative REE supply chain to China's monopoly.
An emphatic and decisive vote in this matter will not be ignored.
