I read these comments earlier & I was going to let them slide, but since you want to take a swing at me and accuse me of "nefarious actions" all while, ironically, defending a known pump & dumper, someone who actually manipulates shareholders perception without ever knowing what she's holding. She tells other shareholders not to sell all while dumping shares herself, I'm sorry, that is a weasel act & anyone willing to defend someone like that needs to take a long hard look in the mirror themselves. I thought I would start holding you accountable for your own comments as well.
I'm not sure why you think BOD taking shares instead of a salary means the end is nigh. If you bothered to look around in the speccy market of late, you'll notice many companies out there are offering director's shares in lieu of salaries/payments. I don't think the directors would accept those terms unless they expect to see some sort of return on those shares i.e. they expect the shares to increase in value. If the Directors don't like the terms, they've got the option to quit.
What's the problem? The company gets to save some cash & the Director's are offered a "payment" that might increase in value. If it does, the directors are laughing. If they were just offered a salary, it would be spent in no time. Being offered shares means the "salary" is locked up & if they don't sell for some time, they'll get back multiples of their salaries.
It's a risk, because the Directors lose out on a salary that can be spent now, in return for shares that can't be spent. The fact the Directors are happy to take the risky approach says to me they have some faith the SP might increase in value at some point.
I guess they can immediately dump those shares on market in return for cash. But if they do & the SP increases in value, they might be kicking themselves for that action. Shareholders will have to monitor the holdings of each company director & given your cynical attitude towards the company's approach, I'm sure you'll be the first one to disclose those actions.
