In my experience, just about EVERY pronounceable combo will have been used somewhere before.

If, in the opinion of the trademark examiner, a name is likely to cause confusion because it's too similar to an existing brand operating in the same area of business then you'll probably have issues.

I think as lay people we should stop trying to reinvent work that has probably already had significant effort applied to it.

I'm sure the company will have done its DD / legals / IP checks to gain some comfort that the name can be used before putting it to SH.

At the end of the day, there's a resolution to be put to the meeting - and that's it.

I'm happy to back the new BoD that they know what they're doing and I'm really liking the clarity of direction.
