This is a very positive development in my opinion
The company is preparing for the future … and perhaps a US listing in the pipeline
CSL doesn’t seem to have any trouble finding friends with a $299 per share cost (and $143 billion capitalisation)
Institutions will surely look at it more seriously
The only people that would be a seller on such news would be short term traders and I expect their stock will be easily soaked up by the professionals now
The company CEO has been presenting recently in USA and East Coast Australia and feedback on appropriate capital structuring must have been delivered loud and clear.
