I read about this a few times on the forum so i emailed IMU directly about it.

I asked them to confirm whether Hoppers shares were being used to do this and what mechanisms where put in place to ensure no conflict of interest and that shareholders wealth is protected. This is the response i received.

The Board of Imugene Limited (IMU) takes matters of governance seriously. We confirm IMU and its Chairman have acted in accordance with applicable requirements and, accordingly, we will not be engaging in further correspondence on this matter.

While I appreciate the acknowledgment of my inquiry, I was disappointed by the lack of substantive engagement with the specific governance concerns I raised. I responded again requesting transparency regarding the Chairman’s use of shares as collateral and confirmation on whether these shares are being used in activities that could negatively affect the stock price.

This was my response from IMU:

As a courtesy we acknowledge receipt of your email, however as mentioned we will not be engaging in further correspondence on this matter. In the interests of all shareholders, the company continues to devote its efforts towards its clinical pipeline.

I cant say that i am impressed about either of these responses. Whilst i am comfortable with the science progressing i am not comfortable about management, and my voting at the AGM will be reflecting my sentiments.
