Over the years I have noticed a sign of a good company is one where there are not pages of explanations on how directors are paid. It makes we wonder how much time is actually spent working out all of these Short term benefits, ST incentives, Share based payments, other benefits, share appreciation rights, service agreements, performance rights.
I understand you want to incentivise but being paid a very good salary (and likely being directors on other company boards) plus all these other reasons to pay more is questionalbe as to wether it is of any benefit to the company or shareholders.
Seeing all the directors are taking shares in lieu of salary this year. Thats another 17.4M shares to add on. They obvioulsy dont need the money.
