yeah agree with your view of the project. POSCO and debt providers have done extensive DD. Again that has me asking why POSCO doesn't just bid for the balance of BKT it doesn't already own and appoint a team to manage the project. POSCO would be able to scale up the modules as needed for battery use, vertically integrate graphite into sister steel companies and as already proposed market any surplus. They could use their strong balance sheet to fund the build or rejig financing at more favorable terms then current proposal will likely be.
Unless BKT management can jag another strategic investor at a project level then i feel a takeover by POSCO, circa ~USD 100m, has to be the most beneficial outcome for shareholders in the forseeable future.
