The MD gets a certain number of performance shares based on a fixed dollar value.
So regardless of the share price, the MD gets the same dollar value in shares
The lower the share price, the more shares he gets, and the more dilution to overall equity
It would be a valid question to ask what incentive the MD has to around share price performance / shareholder returns, when his performance shares are calculated to always achieve a fixed dollar value?
Yes we're all little retail, but if enough shareholders ask maybe the Board will get the message?
