LRV in the first image has tabled ~$1.6m in equity for their lowest remunerated NED, comparatively the highest paid NED at CBA gets $900k I hope that gives perspective on how much money is tied up in these LTI's compared top what the biggest company on the ASX's board is paid.
Further to this all of the hurdles tabled are pretty low bars, deciding to repair the plant (they've already said on the record unless something astronomical goes wrong FID has already been made in their mind)
the second tranche then is just to build the thing - not even operate it - "Yay we spend $100m and give you millions of shares and we don't even know if the plant works"
third tranche - is something out of control of the directors and management and is something we have basically already been at and does not incentivise them to work hard for the long term growth of the company.
