PV12 will just plug straight into the existing gathering network, few hundred metres of gathering at most. The pipeline and processing plant already exist and have spare capacity.

Trucking gas to market might be profitable at current war prices but needless to say it's going to put GAS as probably the highest-cost producer in the market, which means the first one to become unprofitable when prices fall. The reservoir is not particularly impressive either - it was discovered in 1954, the first of the postwar discoveries to my knowledge that defined our geological understanding of the great Qld gas basins. The theory of Plate Tectonics was still a decade away when Reid's Dome 1 was drilled. And nearly 70 years on it still hasn't been commercialised despite the entire CSG industry springing up around it as well as the conventional fields nearby like Yellowbank which were developed in the 80s.
