Absolutely. It makes all the madness and fear propagated in these forums by one or two outsiders look distinctly infantile.
It sounds to me like a significant expansion of the permitted areas for DLE and geothermal is on the cards soon, further (and fast) upscaling of heat offtakes with the full support of the German government, and I got the strong hint that an oil & gas major might soon become a strategic equity partner here. Pure speculation but I wouldn’t be surprised after listening to Francis speak if it’s French supermajor Total Energies, who will shortly take 100% control of their Total Eren renewables offshoot. That would be an enormous coup for Vulcan in terms of technical and political clout across the continent.
