Why does the company of this smallish size that is still just an explorer need both a CEO (Tony Lofthouse and not a director) and a full-time secretary/chief financial officer (Frank Demarte and a director too)?
Also, at what cost? According to page 30 of the Annual Report just released, TL received total remuneration last year as at 30/9 of $284,830 and FD a total of $286,122. The other 2 directors were paid too, so that the all-up total was $739,920. These numbers include super and so on. It appears though that FD has a base salary of about $200k pa. There is an adjustment for leave it seems so as to spike that figure.
Both are not employed on a fixed term basis.DM has to be given 12 months notice to leave and TL 6 months notice.
