My enthusiasm for the appointment of Derek Carter was based on the belief that the company was looking beyond the mining under the big pit. Has there been a cancellation of this project. My understanding is that drilling was still proving the resource and scoping the design of the ore body. If this has been cancelled, then a lot of money has been wasted. I may have missed the announcement, but I do not recall the cancellation of this project. Maybe the company has decided that the incline is too dangerous to transport the ore to the mill, or maybe the mine is unviable. Either way the company needs to be up front and enunciate a clear plan. We are a producer which is the goal of most explorers, not the other way around. Leadership and a clear plan is missing here. Uncertainty kills most ventures. It is not rocket science to enunciate a plan.
