My inference at this point is BB made bare minimum sales to cover taxes and the smallest possible risk mitigation on his sizeable investment to date (an investment he’d had locked up for 7 years by that point). He was more or less still “all in” and clearly had confidence there was growth to come (as evidenced by his very large holdings still sitting in both FFX and LLL). I expect BB is frustrated (to put it mildly) like all of us watching both the future potential disappear here at LLL and an actual gold mine disappear at FFX (and probably mulling the same hindsight games we all are around “what if I’d cashed it all out at the right time”).
