I don't think anybody in their right mind is blaming the Leo board for ALL the goings on in Mali. If you have a virtual gun held to your head you have little choice but to comply. & make no mistake, that is what has happened here. Those Malian tip rats have used stand over & intimidation tactics here.

I can only speak for myself, but what has me infuriated is 'been on 800,000 a year and asked shareholders for 1.5x my salary in bonuses on a venture that has wiped out most shareholders capital 50%'

Management took the same risks shareholders did on the success of the project, regardless of circumstances. They were paid their agreed remuneration for their time, expertise & service.

There have been holders here that are in real danger of being financially wiped out. To suggest that holders approve bouses & retirement payments highlights just how out of touch these directors of listed companies truly are.
