The Directors want a blank cheque from shareholders to award incentives to mganagement for the completed transfer of company property (i.e. “thanks very much for selling Goulamina for a song, here’s a big fat bonus for you all”) and to executives for “retirement benefits”.

Newsflash: your performance incentives aren’t in the money because you did not achieve for shareholders what you were employed to do for them. So go ask Ganfeng - the beneficiary of your work - for a bonus, not us. As far as retirement benefits are concerned, here’s six months notice of termination and that’s it.
