What will be the decrease in premiums? the Government,ent can hardly let them get away with an increase given how high and ridiculous medical premiums are down in Australia.
It should be a 10% decrease as premiums are already too high.
Unless they are going to get rid of the Medicare levy surcharge?
That seems to be the only reason why any Aussie down there would take out private health insurance.
Mark Butler could crush medical insurance by only allowing a decrease or no change and getting rid of the Medicare Levy Surcharge.
Health insurance premiums are 10% over what they should be or could be as seen in comparable countries.
