Perhaps let's put it into context .... @Goldsu claimed that "sm1 might weaponise the license" .... how do you think that would work out for SM1 who is saddled with debt ? Cutting off one of its main revenue streams would surely cause the SM1 share price to tank and it could even impact debt covenants of the new facility .... who knows ?
There's still 41% of SM1 SOI floating around out there outside of Bright and A2M.... in the above scenario I doubt Bright would want to increase its holding of the debt laden SM1 if they were ditching the A2M China IF production so A2M could possibly scoop up a decent percentage from LT suffering SM1 shareholders and have a real say in what happens from that point onwards ?
A2M have other options as well, which have been discussed previously but I agree it would be best to sort it out amicably .... an interesting 12 months ahead for both companies but A2M's war chest of cash would put them in a better position than SM1 in any scenario IMO.![]()
