I am sure the AVB threads would quickly put me to sleep. I quickly put most of them in my ignore list when they came across here - life is too short to listen to that Area 51 nonsense.

I don’t expect another bid either, they’d have acted by now if they were going to imho. Pretty hard without being able to do full due diligence.

I am not keen on this, so if it fails so be it, next best being 51 % imho. I respect AC’s record, but when it comes to M&A I have learnt not to trust the judgement of even the best CEOs.
