@arsenic I finally bought a few APX today- order from several weeks ago.
Appen’s language tech has been being developed since at least 1996.
APX is years ahead of other companies in this space - huge data, & accuracy which is very important.
Referencing AI , technology.
In Biotech however- many stocks are actually assisted by ‘AI’. (Promedicus an example- which I unfortunately don’t own , but it also went down recent years until it has turned)
Or are essentially tech stocks.
Biggest holding example for me is ImpediMed.
APX retail share purchase plan just concluded last week @$1.85 I think.
And IPD retail component closes tomorrow at 5pm, @13c . Might trade close to there again if lucky.
The latter now has global monopoly, only approved diagnostic for very important essential monitoring where at risk post cancers , only approved device for what is now in National cancer council guidelines for care in the US (effectively global cancer treatment standards and already standard in Aust / NZ also) - survivorship or surviving well and limiting harm from medical treatments is now at long last being more highlighted and requirement as always should be .
But these are tech companies, with important technologies and enormous data all validated- that have taken over 20 years to get to now. Not new at all.
Many companies likely takeover targets and solid major shareholders who know what they’re holding & prepared to hold until the end if TO , or excellent shareprice appreciation and returns.
