    Has anyone had any thoughts that Drake are acting on behalf of Sumitomo?

    They are up over 15% now with over 300 million shares.

    what IF they were accumulating stock in AVQ as a fall back / hedge whilst the legal case is dragging on.

    If Sumitomo win the legal case, it was a $7.5m hedge / cost of doing business, and they get the $4bn asset. $7m is a drop in the ocean.

    If Sumitomo LOSE the case, they could very easily launch a takeover bid or buy up to 19.9%, sit back and reap the rewards of everyone else's hard work.
