Sorry just a quick correction to my previous post where I said "The story of JPS Industries is long. It started in February 1990 when the company was formed with $600,000 cash in the bank".
The company that started in 1990 with $600,000 cash in the bank was actually Steel Partners Holdings LP, the majority holder of Handy & Harman who took control of JPS Industries in July. JPS was actually founded in 1982.
I've got to be more careful sometimes when writing these posts. Sorry.
