...twenty odd years ago I started a small business...sought advice from a very successful sales person from Sydney on how to structure the remuneration package for my key sales staff...it was simple, along the lines of provide readily achievable targets with generous incentives and never be concerned that they may earn more than myself as rewards would flow when the business was sold...
...at times it was a hard pill to swallow but
he was spot on in every respect when the business was ultimately sold eight years later funding an early retirement...
...those words resonate very strongly right now with the proposal put forward by the BoD...
