some advise if people know
if we are shut down and the capital returned i gather for tax purposes i gather that date of the return would be the "sale date" as such of the capital lose on the tax. so the question would be will the return of money be reasonably quick ie pay out all the money before they know of any penialties from asic or afp
or will be capital be held until after the penilities are known which could be a few years of ? if we arn't getting the money for a few years then i'm likely to give the new board a go. if money coming though soon then i might vote to shut down as i have capital gains coming though next fy a can offset
