I agree it is good to be wary, but I've looked through the documents included in that ASX announcement and couldn't see much to indicate that Cristian Moreno and the Torque Board are looking to turn Torque into a lifestyle outfit. Everything I've seen of this company in at least the last 10 months or so has been that CM and his team are going flat chat to make something of the company. CM strikes me as being extremely impatient about getting on with having exploration success, the very opposite of a career bludger. While the triggers for the performance rights are not particularly challenging but I don't take issue with those who can turn this company around being generously incentivised.
You only have to check out Torque's website to get an idea of how committed they are to success. How many junior explorers would have, let alone list, nine working geologists on their payroll? Good, different.
