NMT hype followed the lithium hype to a large extent. The Barrambie buyer bailed, and vanadium went down in price. Interest rates hurt as well. This was a series of hard hits.
The reason I continue to hold is Barrambie and the recycling potential. IMO, NMT would do well to focus on becoming a titanium producer along with being a battery recycler.
The cat is out of the bag now, and for most people a hybrid is much, much better than an EV. Here in the States, there is nowhere near the electrical infrastructure to maintain charges on EVs.
As an FYI, it looks like Stelco may be bought by another company. What does this do to NMT recycling in Canada?
