I thoroughly hope that no consolidation in the Cobar happens (at least with us being the consumed).
One thing is assured though, David seems like an astute negotiator and since he has so many shares we can count on our getting full value.
If it does, I am sure that it won't be until we are not only well into mining and generating cashflow, but also have another nearby resource drilled out and with an MRE. These two things will ensure that the fair price for T/O is a hell of a lot higher than the current share price.
I wouldnt think MAC would have the ability complete a take over for a while considering their current huge amount of debt and some of their larger shareholders insisting that they pay it off - hence their huge capital raise. I think they would also need to complete their ramp up before (not forecast until 2026) before they begin to splash some cash again with the backing of their SH.
I also dont think David would be after an all scrip deal either - he is the type of bloke that wants to be the leader of his own destiny and has said many times before that he wants to leave this as a legacy for his family with dividends being paid out. My discussions with Linden reaffirms my thoughts on this.
I would love for silver to be a hell of a lot higher than it currently is before any consolidation.
