To be fair, I think other posters have inferred that SOL has got rid of an asset that they didnt particularly want in exchange for AIS shares and a seat on the board. Sceptics could then say that to release SOLs interests and turn liquid, all they have to do is to sell AIS shares, not necessarily look around for a buyer for a mine. As you say, it takes 2 parties to make the deals.
The stock market is a funny place. For each seller there is a buyer and each party thinks they are the clever one !
